At the General Assembly Convention (San Jose, CA, June 21-27, 2008):
If you would like to discuss the overture with us, please visit us in the Exhibit Hall at the Friends of Sabeel Booth #307. The Israel/Palestine Mission Network (Booth # 303) and Jewish Voice for Peace (Booth # 129) are strong supporters of this overture and are also available to meet with you. At lunch on Tuesday, commissioners will have an opportunity to discuss the Israel-Palestine situation with Jeff Halper, an Israeli Jewish Nobel Peace Prize nominee and founder of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions. His organization has advocated selective divestment for several years.
